SLEEP ON REEF
GREAT deals on wildlife sanctuary visits, an iconic bridge climb, swimming with saltwater crocodiles and sleeping under the stars on the Great Barrier Reef will be on offer this week as Queenslanders prepare for the September holidays.
Tourism and Events Queensland and News Corp’s Queensland mastheads are promoting incredible operator deals to support the state’s tourism industry ahead of the spring and summer breaks.
To kick off week three of the campaign, 25 single tickets for Reefsleep, a twoday, one-night encounter with the Great Barrier Reef, are up for grabs at $5 each. The once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with Cruise Whitsundays to sleep under the stars would normally cost $795 per person.
Launched in 2019, Reefworld at Hardy Reef is a permanently moored pontoon, 39 nautical miles from shore on the outer Great Barrier Reef where visitors can stay. The deal will be available from 9am on Monday until sold out.
