Free movie night back

TOWNSVILLE City Council is hosting a free screening of Pixar’s Secret Life of Pets 2 as the first scheduled for Riverway Movie Nights, which is coming back to life after a Covid-19 hiatus.

Councillor Ann-maree Greaney said Covid had forced the council to hit pause on the movie nights.

“You can pack a picnic to take along, spread out a blanket to get comfy on, and sit back to enjoy Secret Life of Pets 2, which is such a funny movie,” she said.

Food trucks will also be at the event. The movie starts at 6.30pm on Friday.
