BRIDGE CLIMB FOR A BUCK

THERE’S no better way to see Brisbane and the surrounds from on top of the city’s biggest icon, according to Story Bridge Adventure Climb general manager Michael Lawson.

Tourism and Events Queensland’s 20 Days of Holidays Like This campaign, in partnership with News Corp’s Queensland mastheads, is offering 100 Story Bridge Twilight Climbs for $1 each on Queensland.com/ holidayslikethis from 9am on Wednesday.

Mr Lawson said the iconic structure has become the go-to venue for a celebration.

“For a lot of climbers, the bridge climb is a milestone moment – a birthday, anniversary or special occasion – and plenty of proposals,” Mr Lawson said.

“We say the view from the top platform is Brisbane’s best 360.

“Climbing the Story Bridge is the best way to get a totally unique perspective of the city and its surrounds. From the Glass House Mountains to Moreton Bay there’s no better way to see it all.”
