NORTH Queensland’s aspiring detectives and crime scene investigators will soon have an opportunity to flex their skills at a virtual murder mystery event called CSI Townsville.

Following the success of Witchcraft & Wizardry and The Ripper, played by more than a million people worldwide, Cluedupp Games is back with a brand-new mystery that combines outdoor gaming and crimesolving in a unique one-off experience.

Played by more than a million detectives in over 1200 locations worldwide, Cluedupp’s nailbiting outdoor event will kick off in Townsville on Saturday, January 22 next year.

Its latest Csi-inspired storyline sees teams of up to six investigators working to crack the case using forensic techniques, codebreaking and good, old-fashioned detective work.

Founder Tref Griffiths said Cluedupp was now the world’s biggest geogaming events company, hosting exciting and immersive

events on every continent around the globe.

“We have worked tirelessly to bring our amazing customers a brandnew mystery and an incredible outdoor experience that will leave gamers on the edge of their seat,” Mr Griffiths said.

Tickets for the event are on sale now, costing $81 for a team of six adults, with little detectives and dogs playing for free.

Only 10 team tickets remain, so get in quick.
