Residents raise funds for Cancer Council

-

IN early August, residents at Villa Mcauley Retirement Village in Mundingburra came together to celebrate the Biggest Australian Morning Tea.

It was a very happy occasion for all participating and $5050 was raised to support the Cancer Council.

Villa Mcauley manager Fina Jose said a big thank you went out to the team of volunteer residents who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the event possible and so successful.

“We also wish to thank the many local businesses that donated goods to support this important event,” Mrs Jose said.

“Without their generosity, we would not have been able to hold such a successful event.”
