TITAN ON RAIDERS’ RADAR

-

CANBERRA is shortly expected to hold talks with Gold Coast and former NSW utility, Tyrone Peachey.

Raiders management have chosen to kickstart discussions to determine their interest in Peachey and his interest in the club. Canberra continues to look at players for their halves after struggling to fill the void left this year when Englishman George Williams left the club mid-season.

Peachey, off contract this year, has reportedly been offered to Canberra.

Raiders management have discussed Peachey for the past three days and were interested enough to call a meeting at a yet-to-be-determined date.

Peachey was earning a handsome wage but may be forced to sign a new deal worth about $250,000 a season. Gold Coast management confirmed on Tuesday the club wouldn’t re-sign Peachey or halfback Ash Taylor.
