Old strip club hit by kids
A GROUP of youths have been charged after allegedly breaking into the site of a former Townsville strip club.
Police received reports abut 5.30pm on Tuesday that a
group of people were breaking into the building of the former Santa Fe Gold strip club.
The alleged criminals turned out to be a group of three girls and two boys, who were all under 18.
It is understood the group caused damage inside the premises, including letting off fire extinguishers.
The five youths were taken into custody by police.
A 16-year-old boy was charged with enter premises and also assault occasioning bodily harm for an unrelated incident.
A 14-year-girl and 13-yearold were both charged with entering premises and committing an offence.
They will appear in the Townsville Children's Court.
