SILVERLINKS TAKE TOP HONOURS IN BIG WIN
THE Burdekin Silverlinks Reserves netball team managed to win their grand final 47-32.
Silverlinks coach Cailin Betteridge said she had confidence in the girls that they would start strong and see the game through.
“The performance was exceptional, they had a really good game, they came out nice and strong and led 13-7 in the first quarter and kept that lead throughout the game,” Betteridge said.
Betteridge said she was extremely proud of the team.
“This is the first year they have been playing together and they are such a young team, so we went out there every week to play and be strong,” she said.
