IT’S been nearly a decade since their Balinese romance captured our hearts and now cult TV couple Rhonda and Ketut are set to return to our screens.
The loved-up duo – whose romance over a series of AAMI ads ended happily in 2014 – will return this weekend as AAMI mounts a vaccination push.
“Rhonda and Ketut, the iconic couple known for their Balinese love story, sunglass tans, ‘beautiful brake feet’ and penchant for safe driving, have taken a break from Australian TV screens for almost a decade to raise their three kids away from the prying eyes of the media,” AAMI said.
“Their return to TV is in the national interest – to encourage their fellow Aussies to roll up their sleeves and ‘vax up’.”
The TV commercial is due to air from Saturday.
