Winning the Trevor Mustey Perpetual Award for Quality Workmanship is yet another massive feather in the cap for Reef Coast Constructions.

Co-owner Rob Rule said his team was very proud to have been awarded the honour again this year.

“Having won this award in 2018, we believe this to be the highest honour on awards night and do not take lightly the responsibility we have as builders to provide the best workmanship for our clients,” he said.

“From Reef Coast Constructions’ beginning in 2004, we have always prided ourselves on providing the highest levels of workmanship in every build we carry out.

“This consistency is achieved by requiring all team members to align with the values and standards that we set as an organisation.

“Our team of quality building designers, consultants, staff, carpenters and subcontractors are constantly striving for excellence and improvement to make each and every project the best it can be.”

Rob said they used quality material products in their construction to allow their team members to achieve the best result for their clients.

“Our homes are handcrafted by highly skilled teams so that our clients have a home they can be proud of for years,” he said.

“We hold ourselves to the highest workmanship standards through all aspects of the design and construction of each home.

“To be awarded for this specific home is a massive feather in our cap with the design and construction being out of the box for what is generally constructed in Townsville.

“With so many unique elements to this home, it is an amazing feeling that the judging panel recognised the level of our workmanship in the construction of this home.”

The quality standards are set right from the first meeting with their clients working closely with Rob, the co-owner and builder to create the right design, inclusions, fixtures, fittings and pricing for the home based around the clients’ requirements and vision of their new home.

This is done through a detailed and structured preliminary process to ensure all of the correct information is gathered for the home and site.

Once this process is complete, Cameron Mcinnes who is Rob’s business partner and a qualified builder also, takes control of the onsite supervision of each project working closely with the carpentry team and their specialised subcontractors to bring the home to life.

This personal, hands-on approach by Reef Coast Constructions’ leadership team means that every client is working directly with the owners of the business from start to finish.

“This provides a higher level of control and attention to detail of each project to give every owner the peace of mind that their home is being constructed at the highest standards,”

Rob said.

“With two builders at the helm of Reef Coast Constructions, we provide high levels of experience, skills and qualifications for our clients so that the whole building process is structured and managed to achieve the best results for every build.”

Rob and Cameron take the responsibility of every client’s dream home very seriously and hold themselves to the highest account in order to maintain the standards of workmanship that an award such as this demands.

“The end result of our very personal and hands on approach to our projects is the quality standards that have been recognised by the judging panel when inspecting this home,” Rob said. “We pride ourselves on these standards and aim to deliver on every project. This has been our approach for the whole 16 years that Reef Coast Constructions has been operating in Townsville.”
