Home Renovation/ Remodelling Project from $275,000 up to $575,000

- The Whitehouse by Franzmann Constructions Pty Ltd

Tucked

away in the leafy streets of Mundingburra, The Whitehouse is all about embracing the North Queensland lifestyle.

Kiall Franzmann said the project was truly an epic journey with the clients right from the beginning, from property selection all the way through to the end product.

“We think this really shows in the quality of the final project that we were only able to achieve with the trust of our clients and the strong relationship we were able to build with them,” Kiall said.

“This home really is the epitome of modern Queenslander living. It showcases the best aspects of the original home while bringing in the contemporary luxuries that elevate a lifestyle to its best possible level.”

Kiall said the win reaffirmed the decision they made four years ago to shift the business’ focus towards major renovations or “transformations”.

“The Whitehouse is everything we love about a project and thrive on,” he said.

“We are thrilled to have one of our projects recognised by the judging panel as the best in its class for the year.”

Franzmann Constructins started working with the owners of this beautiful lift and buildin major renovation in late 2019 when the search started to find the perfect canvas for this family’s forever home.

“One of the key criteria was location so we worked with the family during their property search to provide practical and honest advice on the different options while they scoured the market,” Kiall said.

“At Franzmann Constructions, we relish every chance we get to be involved with a client’s project from the budding stages of property acquisition right through to beers on the deck at the handover celebration.

“A pleasure to work with, we’re thrilled to see our clients’ dreams come to life.”

With two teenage boys, this family’s goal was to create plenty of space in the renovated home including ample entertaining areas for both special occasions and everyday life.

With this in mind, the ground floor is centred around the open plan living and kitchen area, merging seamlessly into the expansive outdoor entertaining patio at the rear which includes a fully equipped outdoor kitchen.

With much of the original home retained on the second storey, this lift and build-in renovation has given the owners the opportunity to showcase the beloved character elements of traditional Queenslanders – gabled roof profiles, timber-framed exteriors, grand street presence – while breathing new life into the building with contemporary finishes.
