Blues eye assistants
CARLTON is circling respected assistant coaches Matthew Scarlett and Andrew Mcqualter to beef-up its coaching panel for 2022.
While the Blues are yet to finalise their senior coaching position, work has begun on securing some star lieutenants.
Scarlett is considering his future at Geelong and has built a reputation as a defensive mastermind after a legendary career at full back for the Cats.
Mcqualter has also spoken to the Blues about a coaching position after a stint as Richmond’s forwards coach.
Brisbane Lions champion Michael Voss is the front runner to replace David Teague as head coach.
