Here’s what’s happening: September 23 – 2pm Ghost poppers.

September 24 – 10.30am Balloon-powered racing cars.

September 27 – 10.30am Messy play, 2pm Colourful spinners.

October 1 – 10.30am Make your own creative paper arts.

All sessions are free, but spaces are limited so you will need to book by calling 4761 5580 or by heading into the library personally.

On Saturday, October 2 the Fun Palace is back. The event is a celebration of culture at the heart of community using arts, science, craft, tech, digital, heritage and sports activities.

The library is on the corner of Gill and Church streets.

TORS DRIVE-IN

As usual, Steve and Deb at Tors Drive-in Cinema have rounded up a terrific family friendly movie line-up for the holidays.

Screening on September 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 28 and 29 is the new release double feature Ainbo Amazon Princess (PG) and Moonbound (PG).

On screen two on September 24, 25, 26, 28 and 29 you can see Stand by Me and Christine, the Eighties cult double feature movies adapted from the works of Stephen King.

Both films are rated M, so they are better suited to the older kids in the family.
