‘EVIL’ KELLY GANG EXPOSED
Disgraced Singer R Kelly used “lies, manipulation, threats and abuse” to operate an “enterprise” that helped him commit multiple sex crimes, a court has heard.
In his weeks-long trial, the prosecution began wrapping up its case by saying the R&B artist “used his money and public persona to hide his crimes in plain sight”.
Kelly, 54, is accused of operated a criminal ring of associates who helped him abuse women and teens sexually, physically and emotionally.
“Without them at this service, the defendant could not have carried out his pattern of crime for nearly three decades,” the court was told.
Describing the “Robert Kelly-centric universe,” the prosecutor said his employees and entourage either directly carried out criminal activity or “enabled” it when they “didn’t ask questions”.
The case continues.
