Townsville guns named

TOWNSVILLE has had 10 of its best up and coming rugby union stars recognised for their efforts with selection in Queensland Country merit outfits. Teachers West trio Jaylon Paul, Nate Mooney and Jasper Thompson were chosen in the under-14 side, joined by North Ward’s Toby Kennedy and Brothers’ Myles Rosemond. Three more Brothers young guns were selected in the under-16s squad, with Marley Scarff, Nathan O’neill and Nelson Kennedy joined by Townsville Grammar’s Daniel Malum and Bulldog Charlie Lavarack.
