Max ‘chilled’ in title race

-

MAX Verstappen has rejected Lewis Hamilton’s suggestions he may be feeling pressure in their title fight and said it showed the champion did not know him.

The Red Bull driver, who leads by five points, but has a three-place grid penalty for the Russian Grand Prix, said he would race as hard as ever.

“Yeah, I’m so nervous I can barely sleep,” said the Dutchman, with heavy sarcasm.

“I mean, it’s so horrible to fight for a title ... I hate it! Those comments, it shows he really doesn’t know me.

“I really can’t be bothered. I’m very chilled.”
