1601 LOUIS XIII King of France 1722 SAMUEL ADAMS American revolutionary
Louis was King of France from 1610 until his death in 1643. He assumed the crown just before his ninth birthday after the assassination of his father, Henry IV. He died in Paris in 1643 from what historians assume to have been intestinal tuberculosis.
A politician in colonial Massachusetts, Adams led the movement that became the
American Revolution. He was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States of America, along with his second cousin, President John Adams.
