Louis was King of France from 1610 until his death in 1643. He assumed the crown just before his ninth birthday after the assassinat­ion of his father, Henry IV. He died in Paris in 1643 from what historians assume to have been intestinal tuberculos­is.

A politician in colonial Massachuse­tts, Adams led the movement that became the

American Revolution. He was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States of America, along with his second cousin, President John Adams.
