Drugs cost man $1500
JAMES Edward Rodwell appeared in Townsville Magistrates Court on Friday and pleaded guilty to possessing dangerous drugs and driving with drugs in his system.
Police found .37 grams of meth in his system, as well as pipes, scales and clipseal bags.
Rodwell’s lawyer said his client used drugs “recreationally”. At the time of the offending, Rodwell had been on bail for previous offending.
Magistrate Viviana Keegan said at Rodwell had to realise he had a problem and his drug use was not recreational.
He was fined a total of $1500 and disqualified from driving for six months.
