Love in lockdown

WITH half the country in lockdown, Australians feeling hopeless in their search for love have been given fresh hope, with a dating coach sharing his top tips.

Dating apps, such as Tinder, Bumble and Hinge, have recorded spikes in the number of users thanks to governmentimposed social distancing measures, with Tinder recording 42 per cent more matches in the last year.

But single Australians who have struck out on apps have been encouraged to reconnect with former crushes.

“Lockdowns can be a perfect time to reach out,” according to dating coach Andrew Gung.
