Pics trigger cravings

-

SHARING pictures of your meal on Instagram could be bad for your waistline, new research shows, with foodie photographers likely to take longer to feel full, and crave another helping.

A study from the Georgia Southern University recruited 145 students to test what effect posting pictures of food to social media had on hunger.

The results showed students photographing their food scored higher in terms of enjoyment and wanting seconds, leading researchers to believe picture-taking changes the way the brain perceives food and increases cravings.
