Treasurer in isolation

-

TREASURER Josh Frydenberg is isolating “out of an abundance of caution” after one of his staff members contracted Covid-19.

Mr Frydenberg said his electorate office in Melbourne’s Hawthorn East had been closed and deep-cleaned after receiving the news late on Monday. He has so far tested negative to the virus.

“Out of an abundance of caution, my electorate office has been closed and has been deep-cleaned,” he said. “I have been tested for Covid-19 and the result was negative.

“I will be isolating until further notice.”

Victoria had 1763 new cases on Tuesday, and four deaths.
