Perry sticks with cricket
STAR Australian cricketer Ellyse Perry has revealed AFLW was never on the cards despite an approach from Carlton.
Perry, 30, the first Australian cricketer to record 5000 runs and 300 wickets at international level, who has also represented her country in soccer, confirmed it was nothing more than a casual chat.
Perry, who had met with Carlton coach Daniel Harford a few years ago when she moved to Melbourne, said she was committed to cricket.
