Adventure drives Towers Rush fans

FANS of Towers Rush were on hand early on Sunday as 81 teams spent the day taking on new challenges around Charters Towers.

The Amazing Race-style event involved teams taking on all types of challenges from rock wall climbing to kayaking, water slides and arts and crafts activities.

There were more than 50 challenges and checkpoints to get involved with.

Towers Rush challenges were spread across the town, with teams of between two and five people gathering at the showgrounds before setting off. The event had winners in car, bicycle, foot, family, school and corporate categories.
