BRIANNA AND HER COWBOY TIE THE KNOT

- SHAYLA BULLOCH

LOVE is in the air for one Cowboys player who got married in paradise at the weekend.

North Queensland Cowboys prop Jordan Mclean, 30, and new wife Brianna tied the knot in front of family and friends at Palm Cove.

The pair shared snippets from their special day to Instagram on Sunday night, with Mrs Mclean gushing about their love.

“Finally get to call you my husband,” she said, alongside an intimate black-and-white photograph of the pair.

Mclean, who came to the Cowboys in 2018, also shared photographs of their bridal party, which included halfback Ben Hampton.

“Thanks to everybody who helped celebrate our special day,” Mclean captioned the photo.

Wedding guest Kyle Feldt also captured a candid snap of the happy couple on the dancefloor at their reception, saying he was “celebrating the newlyweds”.

The couple were also welcomed home with a surprise wedding gift from their pet chickens, who had baby chicks while they were away.

Mclean came to North Queensland after five seasons at Melbourne Storm, where he won a premiership against the Cowboys in 2017.

He signed a three-year deal in 2018, before activating a two-year player option to remain at the Cowboys through the end of the 2022 season.

Mclean has played 71 games for North Queensland over four seasons.
