Charged after stop
A WEST End man will appear in Townsville Magistrates Court on October 21 after police intercepted him for a licence check.
Officers pulled over a Hyundai Getz on Riverway Drive, Condon on October 19 about 11.15am for the purpose of the licence check.
A male passenger in the vehicle was searched, and police allegedly located a drug utensil, a knife and a needle.
The man, 41, was granted police bail but will appear in court charged with possessing a utensil, failing to properly dispose of a needle and possession of a knife in a public place.
