Probe into OIA claims
PREMIER Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced a parliamentary inquiry into the conduct of the Office of the Independent Assessor.
This comes after claims the body overreached by pursuing frivolous complaints about councillors, including Barcaldine Mayor Sean Dillon
It is expected the inquiry will assess the number and type of complaints against the OIA and the handling of them.
The terms of reference for the parliamentary committee to conduct an inquiry are expected to be finalised within coming days.
