RUSSELL and Desley Ralph (pictured) have put their popular Herveys Range Heritage Tea Rooms on the market.

People who go there love the place, not just for its peaceful, outdoorsy ambience, but also for its scones, caramel tarts and steak sandwiches.

The big question surrounding the sale is whether Russell and Desley will hand over the recipe for the scones and caramel tart they serve at the tea rooms. The name of the butcher where they get the steak is also locked away in the Shoot You If I Tell You file.

It seems the scones, caramel tart and steak sandwiches all have their own cult following.

So, will the recipes, along with the name of the butcher shop, go with the sale? Desley gave a kind of “yeah, nah, yeah, nah, well maybe. Probably. I suppose so” response when I asked her. I think you can take that as a “yes”.
