Work on Rockpool

THE Rockpool on The Strand will be closed this week for annual maintenance work.

Townsville City Council Council has scheduled the work to coincide with the tides allowing for the pool to be drained and maintenance works carried out.

The work will start on Monday and is expected to take five days to complete. Normal works hours are 6am to 6pm Monday to Friday. In exceptional cases, work may be required outside these hours.

The Rockpool will reopen for full community use on Saturday, October 30.
