Passengers flee vehicle after crash
THE occupants of a car seen speeding more than 120km/h before it T-boned another car fled from the scene of a crash.
Police and paramedics were called to the crash on the corner of Mather and Woolcock streets, Mount Louisa, at 8.30pm on Saturday.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said a red Holden Commodore had “Tboned” a second car before the occupants left the scene.
A member of the community reported to police the car had been travelling at speeds over 120km/h before the crash.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said two people from the second car suffered minor injuries and were taken to the Townsville University Hospital.
Investigations are ongoing.
