NQ police search for missing man

A HELICOPTER and drones are being used in the police search for a man who was last seen at a North Queensland work site last week.

Officers and State Emergency Service personnel from Charters Towers and Clermont are searching the Belyando area, including surrounding roads, access points and a work site of missing man Jamie Williamson, 41.

Mr Williamson was last seen last Thursday, October 21, at 6.10pm at a work accommodation site on Moray-bulliwallah Rd.

Mr Williamson has not been in contact with family, work colleagues or friends since that date, with police holding concerns for his safety and wellbeing.
