DOLPHINS’ $5M SPONSOR

A MASSIVE Australian company that sells outdoor accessories will create history by becoming the first major sponsor of the new Dolphins NRL franchise.

News Corp has been told negotiations are complete between the Redcliffe-based Dolphins and Adventure Kings in a whopping frontof-jersey deal worth $5m over three years.

It will be one of the richest sponsorship deals in rugby league history. An announcement revealing the Dolphins’ inaugural major sponsor is being planned for Wednesday. The company may opt to sponsor under another name, 4WD Supacentre.

Dolphins officials were saying little over the weekend but Adventure Kings staff have been told about a media conference – and celebration barbecue – at the company’s main showroom in Brendale.
