AKASHA BREWING COMPANY (Sydney)

Celebrating their 7th birthday this April, The Akasha Taproom is an inner-west gem. It’s popular with locals, doggos, families, visitors and people who have been following these craft beer innovators since the beginning. The Taproom showcases hop forward IPAS, sours, and a range of everything in between. Sitting among the fermentation tanks where all the magic happens gives a real industrial feel. A rolling fleet of food trucks are on site to complement the beers on weekends.

NEWSTEAD BREWING CO (Brisbane)

Newstead Brewing, on Doggett St, is a staple of the craft beer scene, being one of the first brew pubs to open in Brisbane back in 2013. A former bus depot, the brew pub still has the feel of its origins with an industrial-style warehouse fitout. A rotation of 12 beers is always on tap showcasing Newstead’s core range, weird and wonderful limited releases and some old classics brewed locally in Brisbane.

LITTLE BANG BREWING CO (Adelaide)

Just a few minutes from the CBD in Stepney is the Little Bang Brewing Co’s Taproom, which is open from Wednesday to Sunday for casual meals and drinks, and also hosts brewery tours and special events including trivia nights, bingo, comedy and live music. They also have a rotating roster of their own special beer creations and, in a bonus for the real boozehounds, share the space with Gatch Wine and have partnered up with local gin-makers Prohibition Liquor for a series of small batch gins with a Little Bang Twist.
