BLUES’ KENNEDY SIGNS UP
THE career rejuvenation of Carlton midfielder Matt Kennedy has continued with the signing of a three-year extension with the Blues.
Kennedy was on Carlton’s rookie list as late as November before signing a one-year deal after he was taken at pick 13 in the 2015 draft.
A breakout year this season has helped the 25-yearold secure the new contract.
“Matt had a great pre-season and has effectively forced himself into a new-look midfield group this year,” Blues List Manager Nick Austin said.
“Since Matt returned to the senior side in the second half of 2021, he has been playing great football and putting in solid performances each week.”
Carlton is preparing to play GWS Giants in Sydney on Sunday.
