NOTHING FOR CRIMS TO FEAR

-

I refer to the published articles pages 1 & 6 (TB) 25.10.22, we obviously here in the North of the state have no need for a police helicopter as Mr A Harper will attest to everything is under control and is working. The only problem is whatever it is that is supposedly working needs to be shared with the electorate because we do not know if it’s working or not.

On the pm TV, news 24 a police officer advised that they the police were very effective at identifying offenders and putting them before the courts.

There lies the problem it is a complete waste of police and the courts’ time when individuals are put before the court without there being in place a meaningful deterrent. The criminals fear nothing as there is nothing to fear, so crime will just continue unabated until someone in authority says enough is enough and I cannot see that happening whilst we have fools trying to govern the state.

We have had seven years of anarchy in our city and the rest of the state and all we get from the three duly elected Palaszczuk representative is that it is working I would suggest that all three are delusional.

When all said and done the crimes that are being allowed to be committed are not trivial like stealing a carton of milk from the front step.

Causing death by dangerous driving, break and enter, holding a knife to woman’s throat in order to steal her car keys, using a machete in order to steal car keys, arson and the list goes on and the individuals a who commit these crimes just go in one door and then out the other with gay abandon.

Perhaps consideration should be made to introducing an act in parliament, which could be entitled the Citizens Act whereby citizens have the right to live a life without fear of being mugged in order to steal their car keys, or walking the streets without fear of being mown down and killed by a stolen vehicle.

One such act is the Rag and Flock Act of 1868 which covers everything.

Unless something drastic is done to deter crime we all may just as well lay back close our eyes and think of England and let them get on with it because nothing will change .
