WHAT’S IN STORE FOR YOU IN 2023

- BY GINA MOSCH

Ifyou’re eager to know what 2023 has in store for you, then head to renowned Feng Shui Master Jan Leese’s annual workshop to gain an upper edge in the coming year.

The event has a growing following with Ms Leese promising to reveal what the new Chinese metaphysics’ annual energies have in store for the world and Townsville, including our businesses and homes.

“Attendees say they come away knowing where and what to focus on for their success in the coming year,” she said.

“There is something for everyone and understanding why things may be happening and what to do about it gives us the upper edge.

“My goal is to give as much information to help as many people as possible in one event.”

Jan is one of only a few accredited classical Feng Shui Masters in the world, and is owner operator of The Qi Consultant, a successful Feng Shui and Chinese astrology consultancy based in Townsville.

Her annual talks are hotly anticipated, by both business owners and individuals seeking to understand the energy for the year ahead and how to make the most of it.

“Every year I stand on stage and tell Townsville my thoughts on what is in store for us,” Ms Leese said.

“I use ancient calendars, created by traditional farmers who observed nature and put together all the layers. I then come up with what the end results look like to me.”

Ms Leese said the three-hour Year of the Water Rabbit workshop at The Ville would explain what local industries are supported, show how to reduce some possible problems and take advantage of possible opportunities.

“At the end of 2019 I started to prepare for my annual talk held in January 2020,” she said.

“I realised the year was connected to a huge new layer coming in 2024 and not wanting Townsville to be left behind I added this new layer to my presentation.

“I warned attendees that 2020 was going to be the end of the world as we know it and the beginning of a new world that comes in fully around 2024. I warned all forms of travel around the world was strongly affected in 2020, that something was spreading. Then Covid hit and it was not a surprise to me that everyone was working from home, and we were using digital platforms for our new norm – as that is the new energy coming.”

So, what is in store for Townsville in 2023? “Sorry you must come to my event to hear about this as that is where I reveal everything first,” Ms Leese said with a laugh.

The workshop is being held at The Ville, December 8, from 6 to 9pm. Doors open at 5.30pm and tickets are available through The Ville’s Events tab.
