Townsville Bulletin

Top notch toon

-

What a fantastic cartoon in today’s Bulletin Friday 25/11/22. That cartoon says it all, well done. Jenny Hill has been virtually silent on crime over many years, the same as the pluckaduck government, (not interested). Now Jenny has come out of retirement and said a few words. SO we have got to ask

WHY? What is the reason? What prompted her to suddenly become interested in the welfare of Townsville residents, who have suffered for so many years? We would love to know the reason, Jenny.

Also on page 11 we read that Aaron Harper tells us again (now about 1000 times) that he has been trying harder than anyone to tackle crime in Townsville.

Hardly a great achievement Aaron, as all your comrades (anyone as you call them) have done sweet …. All I have been trying harder than anyone to win lotto which also means nothing if I don’t win.

So please change your tactics. If not working then don’t persist with stupidity. Once again we must say that this woeful state government are Labor. That makes no difference as all politicians are in the game for their own personal ambitions, wealth, welfare, power and all the goodies that go with the job. Scott informs us that crime is a complex issue …

What A Heap Of Crap And Excuse For Laziness, And Incompetence To Avoid Doing His Job. Weak As Water. We continually hear that there is a small element that is doing all the crime, in that case WHY? Is it so difficult to find them, arrest them, sentence them, and jail them for a long time?

Got me beat. Surely that would make heroes out of the 3 local

MPS, the weak state government, courts and top brass police. The people would all rejoice and live happily ever after (Keep dreaming) MICK WARREN,

Townsville.
