Appreciation

-

I see in Saturdays Bully, all the Tories are up Steve of Belgian Gardens. I suppose when the last bunch of incompetent lying corrupt clowns who left the country in such a mess got the boot it must have been hard to accept as its only when something hits home with impact that people as a desperate measure attack the messenger.

The Alp don’t always get right either but they always leave the nation in a better financial position than the likes of Morrison, Howard or Frazer. Now instead of attacking me, google our global economic rankings when each of the above mentioned clowns were evicted from office then Google where we were when Keating and Gillard were removed from office. We were actually ranked number 1 when Gillard was PM.

And as a worker, I appreciate policies introduced by Labor Governments in the past. I am looking forward to a comfortable retirement thanks to superannuation. And if it wasn’t for Medicare, members of my family wouldn’t be here now due to the cost of procedures which are provided free in Australia. Just remember, the Liberal party opposed both those policies when they were put through parliament. So Pedro, next time you have a hissyfit and fall off your perch and end up in hospital getting fixed up for free, think about which political party introduced Medicare. Also, I am more than happy for any of you Tories to enlighten me of any polices introduced by Liberal governments that benefit the working class. Can’t wait for Morrison to front up over Robodebt either.

JOHN MELLON, Kelso.
