Strong com­pe­ti­tion at this year's Riviera

Port Lincoln Tuna Clas­sic fish­ing tour­na­ment has re­sulted in two ties: one in the strongly con­tested Cham­pion Boat Over Eight Metres cat­e­gory and the other for Run­ner-up Fe­male in the Un­der Eight Metres sec­tion.

The sus­tain­able event brought 22 boats to the wa­ters off south-west SA, catch­ing a to­tal of 180 South­ern Bluefin Tuna over two days.

Ma­jor awards went to: Andy Cameron, who caught the heav­i­est fish at 15.9kg; cham­pion boat Risky Busi­ness, which hauled in 23 fish; and over­all cham­pion an­gler Su­san Cz­abayski, who caught 11 fish.

Com­peti­tors, event or­gan­is­ers and the team from Riviera all ex­pressed their sat­is­fac­tion with this year's com­pe­ti­tion, mark­ing it as a suc­cess from ev­ery an­gle.
