Yamaha Motor Australia will be displaying the all-new V8 XTO 425 horsepower outboard at the 2019 show. Attendees will be able to get up close and personal to view the inner workings of this massive and technology-driven powerhouse.

This next generation engine sees a giant leap in outboard engine design and development, with the introduction of the industry's first fully integrated electric steering system and first direct-injection four-stroke outboard, delivering the highest compression ratio of any outboard.

Complementing this engine, Yamaha will also be displaying their Helm Master joystick docking and positioning system, which creates a truly effortless boating experience.

Visit the Yamaha display at the Sports, Leisure and Fishing precinct, located right next to the Supertank fish tank display.

World leaders in sail and small shaftdrive engines Nanni Diesel will focus on its small engine range desined for sail and small displacement repowers at this years' show.

Alongside the small engine range will be generators and the new John Deere based marine engines. Based on industrial and commercial engines, the John Deere based range is designed for the repower market and new small-to-mid-sized power vessels with simplictiy a key design factor. The famous blue engines will be supported by the knowledgeable team from the Collins Marine group near the shows' entrance – stop in for a chat with the gang.

Volvo Penta might just have the answer to taking your project boat up to a high-performing machine that will be the envy of all. At SCIBS 2019, Volvo Penta – through its Queenslandbased distributor Seamech – is offering a free extended warranty for up to five years on the entire Aquamatic Petrol engine range with sterndrive. These engines will get you up on the plane quick smart, yet offer low emissions, great fuel economy and exceptional responsive handling.

But don’t just take their word for it. The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) in the US has awarded the Customer Satisfaction Index award to Volvo Penta for this range of engines for 15 years in a row. Packages start from $18,293. Throughout SCIBS, members of Seamech’s team will be on stand PR10 to discuss the best engine package for your boat and as they are the 2018 Volvo Penta Oceania Business Partner of the Year, we think they might just know what they are talking about.

If it’s an outboard you’re chasing, then visit one of the many Suzuki Marine dealer stands. Suzuki’s range of four-stroke outboards are known for their fuel efficiency, value and performance thanks to such innovations as Lean Burn, maintenance-free timing chains and offset driveshaft. Visit one of our three dealer stands to find out why Suzuki is the ultimate outboard motor – Surf Coast Marine, Australian Marine Centre or Laguna Boating Centre.

Sure to draw a crowd will be the latest launches from Suzuki in the DF350A, a high-performance V6 and the DF175A and DF150A in-line fourcylinder sisters. With Suzuki’s famous Lean Burn technology these outboards are fuel efficient but pack plenty of grunt thanks to high gearbox ratios driving big propellers.
