Magelan Travel reclaimed the AFTA NTIA 2019 Best Non Branded Travel Agency Group title, having taken home the award in 2017 and 2015.
General Manager Andrew Mcfarlane, told travelbulletin, taking out the award was particularly sweet this year.
“To have the recognition of your peers in the industry is the most valuable thing,” he said.
“I think all of us including our fellow finalists in this would work very hard on behalf of our member agents for us to have that recognised with the award this year is very special because we’ve had a period of change over the last 18 months.
“We know that we will continue to go from strength to strength and we feel that this is further validation of that.
“[Our management team] Aldo, David, Mitch, Paula and Scott [are] five phenomenal people who worked so very hard for our member agents and ours 123 agents around Australia this is their reward.” that
