Carnival ethical move

Carnival Corporatio­n has named

Paul Anderson to the newly-created position of Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer. Anderson will be based out of the company’s headquarte­rs in Miami, and as part of the executive team, will report directly to Carnival Corporatio­n President and Chief Executive Officer Arnold Donald.

A former federal prosecutor with over 20 years of experience in corporate compliance, Anderson previously conducted a compliance program assessment for Carnival Corporatio­n. “I am honoured and privileged to serve in this important role and look forward to…help build an ethics and compliance program that is truly world class,” said Anderson.

In his role Anderson will drive a culture of compliance and integrity which ensures the company adheres to legal and statutory requiremen­ts. He will also create a new compliance training program for Carnival’s employees.
