Magnifica the magnificent

MSC Cruises has announced a major US$140 million upgrade for MSC Magnifica at the start of 2021, a refurbishment that will include adding 23 metres of length to the ship, 215 new cabins, and an impressive 7,000m² of extra space.

When completed, the renovation will bring the total number of balcony cabins to 63% of the overall accommodation and will see new attractions added such as a sundeck, water park, a redesigned kids area, two extra restaurants and a shopping area.

New environmental measures will also be added during Magnifica’s refit, including a Selective Catalytic Reduction system and next-generation Advanced Wastewater Treatment system.
