-

LATAM Airlines Group has unveiled its new Premium Business class, part of a US$500 million investment in passenger experience. With Premium Business to initially appear on the Group’s Boeing 777s, cabin refit will cost US$400 million and eventually be rolled out to approximately 200 aircraft – over half the LATAM fleet.

For each seat, the new class will feature Thompson Aero Seating, direct aisle access, 18-inch personal screens, individual and couple configurations and fully flat beds with temperature-regulating and pressure-point technology, as well as new pillows, sheets and mattresses. Capping off the airline group’s new offering is a new gastronomic proposition designed by renowned Chilean and

Brazilian chefs Pamela Fidalgo and Aninha, featuring South American ingredients and wines, the latter of which are selected by Hector Vergara, the continent’s only master sommelier.

“From listening to our customers, we understand they want more options, flexibility and personalisation to be able to travel according to their needs…our new Premium Business service offers more comfort and privacy so our passengers can rest and arrive refreshed at their destination,” said Paulo Miranda, Vice President of Customers, LATAM Airlines Group.
