Uniworld right on trac k
Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection is complementing its offering with a new partnership with Golden Eagle Luxury Trains.
Two itineraries in the company’s newly released 2021 collection link rail journeys from Switzerland and Italy with Uniworld’s popular Venice river cruises, featuring the newly remodelled Super Ship S.S. La Venezia which is set to debut in the coming weeks.
In Australia last month to launch the new program, Uniworld CEO Ellen Bettridge told travelbulletin she was looking forward to the addition of four more Super Ships to the fleet over the coming months, with La Venezia to be joined by S.S. Sphinx in Egypt, S.S. Sao Gabriel in Portugal and Mekong Jewel in Indochina. Next year the upgrades will continue, with the transformation of S.S. Queen and
S.S. Empress.
Bettridge also hailed the success of Uniworld’s newest destination, the Peruvian Amazon, where the company will significantly expand its capacity in 2021 after the almost immediate sellout of the 2020 season. And she has high expectations for this year’s European summer program operated by sister brand U River Cruises, which will have two vessels on the Danube targeting millennials, honeymooners, solo travellers and “adult children with their parents”.
Uniworld is currently offering travel consultants an uncapped $500 booking bonus for every passenger booked on a 2020 departure before 31 March 2020, as part of its celebrations for The Travel Corporation’s 100th anniversary this year.
