FLIGHT CENTRE LIVN IT UP

-

FLIGHT Centre is set to gain access to real- time availability and pricing for day tours and activities following a new deal struck with Sydney-based technology company Livn.

The new solution will start rolling out across Flight Centre’s global operations from September, and will enable its consultants to manage B2B connectivity through Livn’s Api-based tech, automating many parts of the booking process which currently require tours and activities to be arranged by phone or email. Livn will provide its platform to Flight Centre via a software-as-a-service model, meaning a flat transaction fee will be charged for each booking rather than a commission, enabling the travel agency to avoid renegotiating existing commercial agreements with suppliers. “In Flight Centre we have found a like- minded partner set on replacing inefficient practices with technology that does not fail, works 24/7 and delivers multiple layers of value at all of its touchpoints,” Livn CEO
