ACTE blasts Trump

THE Association of Corporate Travel Executives has lambasted the Trump Administration’s new policy on laptop screening at airports as an “unsafe, untested and reactionary” policy.

Whilst the association admits that laptops in check-in baggage pose a genuine security threat, in its view the new measures only serve to “shift the hazard” when not implemented thoughtfully and can also cause unnecessary wait times for travellers long-term if security is not well planned.
