TA adds Korea reps

TOURISM Aus­tralia has ap­pointed a rep­re­sen­ta­tive agency in South Korea in an ef­fort to re­fo­cus its trade ac­tiv­i­ties.

The or­gan­i­sa­tion has cho­sen Seoul-based H Plus to rep­re­sent Aus­tralia’s tourism ini­tia­tives among trade part­ners.

Tourism Aus­tralia last year ad­ver­tised for a coun­try man­ager for South Korea ( TD 11 Aug), but opted to close its Seoul of­fice and open ten­ders for a GSA ar­range­ment in May ( TD 22 May).

H Plus will also pro­vide sup­port and train­ing for the Aussie Spe­cial­ist Pro­gram to equip front-line travel sell­ers with the knowl­edge and skills to sell Aus­tralian tourism prod­uct.
