Hel­loworld launches TV show

LAST night saw the launch of the new Hel­loworld TV show ( TD 31 Jul), with Syd­ney’s Sof­i­tel Dar­ling Har­bour aglit­ter with a celebrity-stud­ded cel­e­bra­tion.

The event fea­tured per­son­al­i­ties in­clud­ing Ray Martin, host Lau­ren Phillips, Steve Ja­cobs, Matt Wil­son, De­nis Wal­ter and Vince Sor­renti, along­side travel in­dus­try chiefs in­clud­ing Hel­loworld’s An­drew and Cinzia Burnes.

“We are thrilled to part­ner with the Nine Net­work on our in­au­gu­ral tele­vi­sion pro­gram,” said An­drew Burnes.

“Our new TV pro­gram will give the best in­sight into some ter­rific des­ti­na­tions for fu­ture travel, both around Aus­tralia and around the world,” he said.

The 20-episode series will air on the Nine net­work on Sun af­ter­noons, as well as be­ing avail­able on the 9NOW stream­ing ser­vice.

Nine ceo Hugh Marks said part­ner­ing with Hel­loworld Travel was a “fan­tas­tic op­por­tu­nity to de­velop great con­tent and bring it to our au­di­ences in a brand-safe en­v­iorn­ment”.

The first show will air on 07 Oct at 4.30pm, with up­com­ing des­ti­na­tions to in­clude Canada, Ja­pan, Eng­land, Scot­land, New Zealand, the USA, Italy, France, In­done­sia, Viet­nam and Fiji along with do­mes­tic trips in the North­ern Ter­ri­tory, Western Aus­tralia, South Aus­tralia and Queens­land.
