TRAVEL tech­nol­ogy took cen­tre stage yes­ter­day in Syd­ney at the in­au­gu­ral Travel Tech Sum­mit.

A se­ries of key­note ad­dresses, fire­side chats and panel dis­cus­sions cov­ered an ar­ray of con­tem­po­rary top­ics im­pact­ing upon the travel in­dus­try.

Se­nior IT lead­ers, man­age­ment and mar­ket­ing ex­ec­u­tives were in at­ten­dance to hear the lat­est in emerg­ing tech­nolo­gies, the im­pact of dig­i­tal tech­nol­ogy on the cus­tomer and how air­lines and air­ports are util­is­ing tech­nol­ogy to stay com­pet­i­tive.

Day two of the sum­mit con­tin­ues to­day with the au­di­ence to hear from rep­re­sen­ta­tives from Google, Travel Coun­sel­lors and Groupon.
