Air Canada’s prize on ice

AIR Canada has brought a touch of frosty am­bi­ence to this year’s fes­tive sea­son with Mel­bourne’s first out­door sum­mer ice rink - and Travel Daily read­ers have a chance to get their skates on and be part of the fun.

The Air Canada Ice Rink opened on the week­end at the fa­mous Queen Vic­to­ria Mar­ket, of­fer­ing hourly skat­ing ses­sions and rink­side treats like tra­di­tional pou­tine and maple syrup ice cream.

The air­line is also of­fer­ing TD read­ers a chance to win one of 10 dou­ble passes to the rink, which is open daily un­til 24 Dec.

En­trants need to be from Mel­bourne or able to visit be­fore Christ­mas Eve, and the first 10 cor­rect en­tries will win.

Air Canada Gen­eral Man­ager Aus­tralia & New Zealand Vic Naughton said the Air Canada Ice Rink pro­vided an op­por­tu­nity to demon­strate the air­line’s com­mit­ment to the Mel­bourne mar­ket and thank lo­cals for their sup­port dur­ing 2018.
